Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is Pro-Life Properties of Texas, LLC?

Pro-Life Properties of Texas, LLC is an internet-based document preparation service that prepares documents at your direction. We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice.

  • How can I prohibit abortion?

We help you ban abortion and pro-abortion counseling through Restrictive Covenants. This can be done for any property you own in the state of Texas. Restrictive Covenants are the legal instruments commonly used to enforce Home-Owner Associations’ rules. However, you do not need to participate in or join a Home-Owner Association to prohibit abortion on your property.

  • How long are the prohibitions in place?

They are permanent. The prohibitions “run with the land” and will remain in effect for any future owners of your property. This creates an accumulative effect as abortion prohibitions are placed on more and more properties over time.

  • What difference can I make as an individual?

There’s a positive impact on your home and family, your business, and your investment property when you join with other pro-life Texans and take a stand for life.

First of all it’s an opportunity to make a powerful public statement about your values and beliefs. You can also have peace of mind knowing you’ve taken full responsibility for the property placed in your possession. And you become connected with likeminded Texans who value life and liberty, as well as individual property rights.

But a larger impact comes about over time for one simple reason – the prohibitions “run with the land” and remain in effect for all future owners of your property. This means our impact grows over time as more and more properties permanently ban abortion.

  • Does my property qualify for a ban on abortion?

All properties in the state of Texas are eligible to apply. The zoning status of your property (residential, commercial, agricultural, industrial, etc) is not an issue.

  • Can abortion be banned in states other than Texas?

Pro-Life Properties is currently available only in Texas. But we’re working to expand into all fifty states. Please contact us for updates on progress in your state.

  • How will a pro-life deed restriction affect the value of my property?

When abortion-related businesses move in, property values tend to decline. You can "immunize" your property against this with a pro-life deed restriction.

  • How much does it cost?

We charge $77 for preparation and filing of your legal documents. This includes all filing fees.

  • What am I paying for?

Your $77 payment covers the cost of preparing and filing your Declaration of Restrictive Covenants (the legal document that bans abortion). You only need to fill out the simple form and have your signature notarized – we take care of the rest.

  • Is my payment tax-deductible?

Payment for services provided by Pro-Life Properties of Texas, LLC is not tax-deductible. You are encouraged to use the links on our website to contribute to tax-exempt pro-life organizations.

  • What happens when I sell my property?

Your abortion prohibition “runs with the land” and will remain in effect for any future owners of your property. All Restrictive Covenants are brought to the attention of the buyer at the time of closing.

  • Are the services provided by Pro-Life Properties of Texas, LLC guaranteed?

Yes. Pro-Life Properties of Texas, LLC will refund 100% of your fee if we are unable to provide documents adequate for filing a Declaration of Restrictive Covenants.

  • Is Pro-Life Properties of Texas, LLC associated with any political groups?

No. Pro-Life Properties of Texas, LLC is not associated with any political groups or campaigns.

  • What's the process to legally prohibit abortion and register my property?

    1. Fill out the simple application.
    2. The documents will be sent to you for your notarized signature.
    3. Return the documents in the envelope we provide.

    It’s as simple as that!

  • Can the abortion prohibition on my property be reversed?

You can reverse any deed restriction you add to your property prior to transferring ownership; once the property is sold with the deed restriction, it restricts the land in perpetuity, or permanently.
